SUMMARY:Performance Team Casting Week
DESCRIPTION:Casting Week is your opportunity to be considered for Sac Dance Lab’s performance teams. Throughout the week\, dancers will attend choreography-based classes that allow our directors to evaluate movement quality\, performance\, musicality and overall fit for each team. \nThis process is designed to be supportive\, organized and welcoming\, while still giving dancers the chance to show their versatility and work ethic in a class environment. \n👟 What to wear: Look the part! Performance hair/makeup/attire are encouraged.\n💧 What to bring: Just yourself and water!\n🩰 All dancers must attend at least one casting class\n⭐ Multiple classes are suggested for fuller consideration \nCasting classes are regular-length and still open to dancers not applying to performance teams. Classes will be filmed. Team placements and next steps will be shared via email following Casting Week. \n📅 January 5–8 \nVisit the Performance Teams page to see casting class sessions for each team.

DESCRIPTION:Our Youth Dance Day is a fun\, high-energy 55-minute class designed for kids to move\, learn and build confidence in a supportive studio environment! \nEach class is $5 per student and focuses on upbeat movement\, simple choreography\, and having fun while learning dance basics. \n👟 What to wear: comfy clothes like sweats or leggings and sneakers\n💧 What to bring: a water bottle\n🚪 Drop-off only (no parent observation during class) \nSpots are limited\, so be sure to check the calendar and reserve ahead of time. We can’t wait to dance with your kiddos!
